Vauxhall presents: “LIARS!”
Friday March 1
Creative Alliance at the Patterson
Old-school vaudeville entertainment meets of-the-moment comedy, performance art, music, dance, interviews, and audience participation. With a theme.
- WYPR’s Aaron Henkin – Your host. Interviews mystery guests on the biggest lie they’ve ever told. Aaron Henkin produces The Signal on WYPR.
- Lee Harvey Keitel & the Liars – House band. Baltimore postpunk legend Lee Harvey Keitel resurfaces–backed by anti-math syntax rock band Landspeedrecord! as The Liars–with lit-punk French chansons and your favorite Lee Harvey Keitel Band tunes.
- The Collective – Baltimore dance sensation. The Collective moves you with “SHORTS.”
- The Stoop’s Jessica Henkin – Dark comedy. Jessica performs a sketch about love and lies. Jessica produces and co-hosts the Stoop Storytelling Series and performs with Baltimore Improv Group.
- John McGready, PhD – Professor & gentleman. John schools us, in his way, on lies, truth, and statistics. John is a Golden Apple Award-winning professor of statistics at a local public health university.
- Catharine Robertson – Performance art. Gaslights children for sanity and clean living. Catharine is the producer of Vauxhall, a sometime storyteller and performer with Stoop Storytelling, and performs, directs, and produces with Baltimore Improv Group.
- “Legends & Lohrs” – Short film. Baltimore kids Oscar & Lucie Lohr interview Baltimore’s Best Actor, Bruce Nelson, on acting, lying, faking, and fibbing.
